About Education

Mr Hemant Makvana graduated from Law College of Godhra in 2003 and became a member of with Gujarat Bar Council as an advocate. He has been a brilliant law student and completed LL.M (Environment) from the School of Law, Ahmedabad in 2006. To add another badge of knowledge on his shoulders, he also secured a Post- Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relation & Human Resource from Mahatma Gandhi Labor Institute.
Advocate Makvana has served on eminent positions of responsibilities. Noticing his pragmatic approach and qualitative arguments, he was appointed as Assistant Government Pleader at the Gujarat High Court in 2006 and appeared in cases related to service matters, land laws, labour laws, tax laws etc. He was solicited as a panel Advocate for Gujarat High Court Legal Services Committee and appeared for the under-trial prisoner and the convicted prisoner, as a part of rendering legal service to underprivileged society. He has also been designated as Amicus Curie by High Court judges in numerous cases where he rendered succour to the court in dealing with cases of paramount importance.
He had been illustrious in dealing with prominent oppositions like Advocate S.N.Shelat, Ex-Advocate General of Gujarat while dealing case of Noise Pollution. Advocate Makvana has successfully concluded the argument against widely acclaimed lawyer Late Shri J R Nanavati while representing Scheduled Tribe candidate in dealing with a sensitive case of Reservation policy in Gujarat High Court. The Medical Council of India has also acknowledged his contributions and invited to deliver an oration on “Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act, Medical perspectives”.
Advocate Makvana leads from the front when it comes to serving the society at large with his gifted skills. He is volunteered advocate for Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad and appeared in a number of cases for “ Sewak Kendra” at the Ashram.
